The "real" story . . .

This picture of Merlin was taken at Premier this year.  We had been outside in the heat most of the day and had finally returned to the motel room.  Echo was out like a light on my pillow, and Bonnie was playing ball on the floor. Merlin was stretched out at the end of the bed upside down.  We cranked the cold air way up, and it was nice and cool in there.

I looked at all the dogs and said, "Who wants to go outside for a walk?"  Echo didn't move at all, but Merlin opened one eye and gave me a look that was priceless!  Like, "You want me to go WHERE?? And do WHAT?? I don't THINK so!!"

Previous IPPG "real" story . . .

(Which unfortunately was lost when Juliana's computer crashed, so here it is now!)

Chinook is very out-doorsy . . . she goes hunting and horse riding with us weekly. We had come across a campsite at the top of a mountain and I thought it would be great to get a picture of my husband (Lee) sitting on the potty, but to our surprise Chinook got there first and jumped up as if she owned it (just like her recliner at home)! It was just the funniest thing we had ever seen and we were really lucky to have gotten the picture. We were laughing so hard, we never did get one with my husband!
