News From Nice, France

Author: Michal Cline

The news we received from Nathalie Bernard in Nice was fantastic: " Aramis is now a papa!" Approximately nine weeks previously, Nathalie had come to our home in Poussan from Nice to breed her parti-color Standard Poodle Youta to my parti-color Standard Poodle Aramis. Youta's parents and Aramis were imported from the United States.

Nathalie said, "Around 4:30 in the morning on the 29th of May, I was awakened by a loud noise. I thought, NO! It's not possible!!! Youta looked over at me as if to say ‘Bonne Fete Maman (Happy Mother's Day)!’ Her last puppy was not born until around 3:00 in the afternoon."

Youta had a total of seven puppies: six males and one female, all black and white. Sadly only four males survived. Needless to say, we are all very proud of the new babies, and Youta is a wonderful mother.
