Dalton Meets His Father Aramis

Dalton is now almost one year old. His family decided it was time for Dalton to meet his father. Here is Dalton’s recounting of this meeting:

Dear Diary,

March 8th was a very special day for me. That was the day I would meet my father Aramis. My human brother Fabio was also very excited. He is my super special companion. With my family, I was finally going to meet my Dad, Aramis de la Garrigue. It was too cool! Aramis is also the father of Domino, Darwin and D’Jaksson. All four of us are black and white parti Poodles.

My human mother spoke to Michal, Aramis’s human mother to find out when we could travel to Poussan. From the moment we arrived, I was immediately at ease even though I am not the same color. In spite of the difference in color and size (Stephanie, my human mom had explained to me that I resembled my mom Youta more in that I am black and white and quite large whereas Aramis is apricot and white and a bit smaller), the minute I saw him I knew that he was my “Cherished Daddy!!”

At the bottom of the lane, I got out of the car and walked together with Dad and we got to know each other. We had a wonderful time running together in the garden. I am sure he was glad to meet me too. While our adoptive parents spoke together about human stuff, we played around the house and yard. I had the impression that their house seemed very familiar. I like Michal and her husband and want to thank them for their hospitality and for letting me meet my Dad.
